Shipping Policy - The Basics

Delivery & Shipping Policy

Delivery Charges
Orders are delivered using UPS or another suitable delivery service.
Delivery charges apply to all orders and are calculated or displayed at checkout. Delivery costs reflect the secure and age-verified delivery requirements applicable to alcohol orders.

Delivery Address
Please ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is complete and accurate.
Deliveries may be made to a residential or business address used by the customer. We cannot guarantee delivery to an alternative address if the address provided at checkout is incorrect or incomplete.
For alcohol orders, deliveries will not be made to a public place or left unattended.

Signature & Age Verification
All orders containing alcohol require an age-verified delivery and may require a signature.
The recipient must be aged 18 or over.
7p Wines operates a Challenge 25 policy. If the person receiving an alcohol delivery appears to be under 25, the courier may require valid photographic identification confirming that the recipient is at least 18.
Acceptable identification may include:

  • Passport

  • UK or Northern Ireland photocard driving licence

  • PASS-approved proof-of-age card

  • UK military identification

The exact identification accepted may be subject to the courier's age-verification requirements.
Alcohol will not be handed over to anyone under 18.
If the required age verification cannot be completed, delivery of the alcohol will be refused and the order will be returned in accordance with the courier's procedures.

Failed Delivery
If nobody is available to receive the delivery, or the required signature or age verification cannot be completed, the courier may make a further delivery attempt or return the order to 7p Wines.
Where a delivery or return is unsuccessful because of an incorrect or incomplete address, nobody being available to receive the order, refusal to provide required age verification, or another circumstance within the customer's control, 7p Wines may charge reasonable additional delivery or return costs.
If you request redelivery following an unsuccessful delivery, additional delivery charges may apply.
Where a delivery problem is caused by an error on the part of 7p Wines, we will not charge the customer for reasonable redelivery or return costs.

Delivery Times
Orders are dispatched as soon as reasonably possible after the order has been accepted and payment has been received.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and may vary due to courier operations, weekends, public holidays, weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Unless a different delivery period has been specifically agreed with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and, where applicable, within 30 days of the contract being made.
If a specific delivery date or period has been agreed with you and we fail to deliver within that agreed period, your statutory rights will apply.

Delivery of Alcohol
When purchasing alcohol online, customers must confirm that they are aged 18 or over.
Alcohol will only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over and will not be left unattended for later collection.
The person accepting the delivery may be required to provide photographic identification under our

Challenge 25 policy.
Customers must not purchase alcohol for someone under the age of 18.
Delivery may also be refused where the courier reasonably believes that the recipient is under the influence of alcohol or otherwise unable to safely receive the delivery.

Damage on Delivery
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact:
info.7pwines@gmail.com
Please provide your order number and photographs where appropriate so that we can assess the issue and arrange the appropriate remedy.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Responsibility for Delivery
Once the goods have been physically delivered to you, responsibility for the goods passes to you, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights in relation to damaged, faulty, incorrectly supplied or undelivered goods.

Delivery Costs on Returns
Where you return an unwanted order under your statutory cancellation rights, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless otherwise agreed.
Where a return is required because the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect, or because of an error by 7p Wines, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return delivery costs as required by law.
For further information, please see our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy.
