For generations, carbonic maceration was the traditional way of making wine in Rioja Alavesa, long before Bordeaux-inspired winemaking techniques arrived in the region during the 19th century.
The 7p Wines Rioja Alavesa Experience Pack brings together six wines from three traditional family wineries, offering a journey through one of Rioja Alavesa's most distinctive winemaking heritages.
From vibrant young wines rooted in carbonic maceration traditions to more structured and contemporary expressions, this selection showcases different interpretations of the region while remaining connected to the people, vineyards and families behind them.
